Hi, I'm Race. I started playing guitar during the COVID pandemic after my dad encouraged me to give it a try. I taught myself with help from friends and YouTube, and within weeks I was writing original songs. Since then, I've filled notebooks with music and found a real passion for singing and songwriting.

Recently, I've started performing with my good buddy, Matt Caron. If you're looking for a fun night of live music, come check us out!

Hiya, I'm Matt. I started playing guitar at the age of 12. During lunch, I would head to my music teacher's classroom where she taught me the basics. As my skills grew I followed in the footsteps of my father, Jeff — an avid performer in Southern Connecticut — and began taking lessons at my local music store. By the age of 16, I had become primarily self-taught, hopping in and out of different acts before eventually joining my father in his band "Jeff & The River Rats".

In 2025 I stumbled into Race at a local event, and since then I've been backing him up. Together, we play everything from rock and grunge to folk and country. Come out and give us a listen!
